Gavin Wood (Blockchain / Web3 Infrastructure) at Polkadot / Parity — Berlin, Germany

Gavin Wood co-founded Ethereum, wrote its original Yellow Paper (technical specification), and invented the Solidity programming language used by millions of smart contract developers. He then founded Parity Technologies and created Polkadot, an interoperability protocol enabling different blockchains to communicate. Wood also coined the term "Web3" in its current usage. He remains one of the most technically profound thinkers in the blockchain space.
