Max Levchin co-founded PayPal with Peter Thiel and Elon Musk, serving as CTO and building the anti-fraud systems that protected the company. After PayPal, he founded Slide, Yelp (as an early backer), and most notably Affirm, pioneering Buy Now Pay Later in the United States.
