Mitchell Hashimoto (DevOps / Infrastructure) at HashiCorp — San Francisco, United States
Mitchell Hashimoto co-founded HashiCorp in 2012 and created Vagrant, Terraform, Vault, Consul, and Nomad — tools that became foundational to modern cloud infrastructure. His open-source-first philosophy grew one of the world's most-used DevOps toolchains. HashiCorp went public in 2021 and was acquired by IBM in 2024 for $6.4 billion. Hashimoto has since left and returned to individual open-source contributions.
