Nir Zuk founded Palo Alto Networks in 2005, inventing the first application-aware firewall and pioneering the next-generation firewall category. Before Palo Alto Networks, he was the lead engineer at Check Point and later CTO of NetScreen Technologies. Zuk's technical vision established the foundation for modern network security and he remains deeply involved in Palo Alto Networks' engineering and product direction as CTO and board member.
